Wyckoff Country Club in Holyoke sold; will operate ‘just as it’s been for the last 60 years,’ new owner says
A group of local investors are in the final stages of buying Wyckoff Country Club from the family of the late longtime owner Clarence “Clarky” E. Wojtowicz, with plans to keep it open as a semi-private 18-hole golf course with a bar, restaurant and banquet facility. “Just as it’s been for the last 60 years,” said Bob VanZandt Sr., one of the new owners. In addition to VanZandt, owner and president of American Tire Sales & Service in Springfield, the group includes his wife, Beth, and brothers Charlie and William Arment, owners of Charlie Arment Trucking, also in Springfield.
