Women’s Fund of Western Massachusetts co-founder Sally Livingston dies
Sally Livingston believed that women could do anything they sent their minds to, and she spent her life helping them achieve their dreams. Livingston, 71, a co-founder of the Women’s Fund of Western Massachusetts, died in Washington on Oct. 4 after a long battle with brain cancer. “Sally was a multifaceted person, so to think of just one thing I will remember her for would be impossible,” said David Woods, a longtime friend and colleague. The pair ran Woods and Livingston Financial Group together for 15 years before she started her own firm. “She had so many talents and so many interest and was so bright. Whatever she put her mind to she just made a success of.”
