WIT Mentor Match Program
WIT is a community of women innovators and trailblazers with the common goal of supporting other women in their professional and entrepreneurial aspirations. Our members include entrepreneurs, professionals, students, educators, and business leaders at all stages of their careers.
WIT began as a collaboration between the EDC of Western Mass and Valley Venture Mentors (VVM) in December of 2015 when 12 women were invited to discuss the idea of making Western Massachusetts a place for women entrepreneurs and innovators to thrive. Over 30 smart, passionate women showed up and has grown to over 350 women engaged with the community. With the support of VVM, WIT continues to celebrate the opportunities for and efforts of Women in Western MA.
In 2019 WIT launched its first cohort of the WIT Mentor Match Program, providing mentoring that helps women navigate their business or career, develop key competencies, and/or grow their professional network. We’ve held 4 cohorts with over 100 participants to date. New cohorts begin each fall and run through the spring.
