Wahlburgers begins construction of restaurant at MGM Springfield
Equipment is in place to begin building the long-expected Wahlburgers restaurant at MGM Springfield, on a cleared lot at the corner of Main and Union streets. Wahlburgers is owned by the Dorchester-bred Wahlberg family, including lead chef Paul Wahlberg and his brothers, actors Mark Wahlberg — “Ted” and “Lone Survivor” — and Donnie of Wahlberg of TV’s “Blue Bloods.” The restaurant chain is the subject of the family’s reality TV show, also called “Wahlburgers.”
