Vote delayed on Enfield Square Mall subdivision; skeptical planners want more details

The owners of Enfield Square mall want to carve up the 86-acre property into smaller plots and then sell them for redevelopment. But in an hours-long meeting Thursday night, the town’s Planning and Zoning Commission heard from residents who don’t trust Namdar Realty Group and Mason Asset Management to spend the necessary cash to bring in the right mix of office, retail, housing, services and other amenities to make the mall property an economic engine again.
