Tree House Brewing to host COVID vaccination clinic at former Channing Bete building in Deerfield

Tree House Brewing will host a COVID-19 vaccination site this week at its newly purchased property in South Deerfield, at the former Channing Bete headquarters. The clinic runs Thursday, Feb. 18 and Friday, Feb. 19. Signups are available at maimmunizations.org. There are 140 appointments available on the first day and 164 available on the second day. The clinic is open to eligible residents of Franklin County

Tree House bought the former Channing Bete headquarters, manufacturing and warehouse space on Route 5 in South Deerfield for $4.25 million.

The brewing company announced back in November that it plans to open a taproom, store, festival and performance space. Some attractions could launch sometime in the summer of 2021, depending on COVID-19 restrictions.

The old Bete property boasts 97,200 square feet of manufacturing, warehouse and office space along with a large solarium that was once an employee cafeteria. It’s right on a major commercial road and right off interstate 91 in a rural area of the state underserved by other COVID clinics.

Big y foods has another clinic in a former Mattress Firm store adjacent to its grocery store on Route 2 just west of Greenfield.
