State OKs Westfield tax incentive for Myers Information Systems
The state has approved the city’s decision to grant a six-year, $52,000 tax break to Myers Information Systems, the Northampton software company that plans to relocate to a vacant former bar and restaurant here. Under the agreement, Myers Information Systems will only pay a portion of the taxes on the improvements it makes to 110 Elm St. in Westfield. The percentage it pays goes up every year until hitting 100 percent.
