State grants $3.2 million for housing in Falmouth, Newburyport, Northampton
Massachusetts officials Tuesday announced $3.2 million in grants toward the construction of affordable housing projects in Falmouth, Newburyport and Northampton. A 12-unit building at 35 Village Hill Road in Northampton on what was once the grounds of a state hospital will get $1.3 million. Other projects are at the YWCA at Hillside in Newburyport, which received $600,000, and at Gifford Street in Falmouth, which received $1.3 million.
