Springfield razes buildings for Central Street reconfiguration; new alignment to be done in 2020
Associated Building Wreckers took down the former Impoco’s Chicken shop at 468 Walnut St. Monday, the first of three building demolitions that will make way for a realigned Central Street and a new entrance to Ruth Elizabeth Park in the city’s Six Corners and Old Hill neighborhoods.
