Springfield Museums get $100,000 state grant for Amazing World of Dr. Seuss Museum

The Springfield Museums received a $100,000 state grant Friday at a breakfast with members of the Western Massachusetts state legislative delegation. The money is intended for bilingual interpretation at the Amazing World of Dr. Seuss Museum. Springfield Museums President Kay Simpson accepted the grant from Patrick Carnevale, Director of Gov. Charlie Baker’s Western Massachusetts Office in Springfield, State Rep. Brian Ashe, D-Longmeadow, State Rep. Mike Finn, D-West Springfield, State Sen. Don Humason, D-Westfield, State Sen. Eric Lesser, D-Longmeadow, State Rep. Angelo Puppolo, D-Springfield, and State Sen. Jim Welch, D-West Springfield.
