The City Council on Tuesday will consider granting final approval to establishing the Trinity Block on Bridge Street and a unique Byers Street house, both in the downtown area, as historic districts. The regular council meeting begins at 6:30 p.m. at City Hall. The historic districts already have the approval of the Springfield Historical Commission and Massachusetts Historical Commission. The City Council gave first-step approval in July.
