Indian Orchard Mills, a community of artists and artisans in a sprawling mill by the Chicopee River, drew crowds to its 2018 Fall Open Studios Art Show & Sale on Saturday. Spread out over five floors of two buildings, the show, now in its 25th year, saw more than 50 artists open their studios to the public. Between 600 to 1,000 visitors were expected at the two-day event. “I think it’s a great opportunity” for both artists and visitors, said artist Tara Hengeveld, who shares studio space with two other artists. Hengeveld, who works with watercolor paint, said she has been working at the mills for three or four years.
