Sears to close another Massachusetts store; see list of all 64 Kmart, 39 Sears stores included in 1st round of 2018 closings
This round of shutdowns once again spares Sears stores in the Eastfield Mall in Springfield and in the Holyoke Mall at Ingleside as well as Kmart locations on Route 5 in Holyoke and on Wilbraham Street (Route 20) in Palmer. Sears already announced in November its plans to shut down the Sears store in the Berkshire Mall in Lanesborough later this month. Sears isn’t saying how many people will lose jobs in the closures. But workers will have the ability to apply for jobs at other Sears and Kmart locations.
