Ribbon cutting ceremony for Walsh Park in Springfield
Congressman Richard Neal joined Springfield Mayor Domenic Sarno for a ribbon cutting ceremony at Walsh Park Tuesday morning to celebrate completed renovations. The mayor announced the project in December, 2019. $1.2 million went into redeveloping the park on Freeman Street adding playground amenities, a splash pad, an accessible walking path, picnic tables, sports fields and new landscaping.
