Rewards program offered to Hartford Line train riders: Springfield deals include Thunderbirds, museums
The Connecticut Department of Transportation now offers a rider rewards program where consumers can get discounts at businesses and attractions by showing their tickets or passes or a downloadable coupon. That includes tickets for Hartford Line passenger trains from New Haven to Springfield. The program, called CTrides, is also open to riders on Shore Line East trains and on CTfasttrack buses in Connecticut.
