Reshaping philanthropy in our community
As the generosity-dust settles on the sixth and likely final Valley Gives Day, I’m feeling more than a little sentimental. This one-day festival of community philanthropy began with a question posed by devoted community member Paul Doherty: “How can we make this Valley the most generous region in the country?” Looking back now, the “we” has clearly emerged as the most important part of that question.
