Red Sox Winter Weekend, Hoophall Classic drew 10,000 visitors and $7M in spending, visitors bureau says
Basketball great LeBron James wasn’t the only person visiting Springfield over the past seven days. The Greater Springfield Convention & Visitors Bureau on Friday said that the Hoophall Classic —where James turned up to see his son, Bronny James, play on the Sierra Canyon High School team — and the Red Sox Winter Weekend drew more than 10,000 visitors to greater Springfield.
