Public meeting scheduled on potential new Westfield industrial park
An informational meeting on the potential development of 66 acres of land on Turnpike Industrial and Cabot roads is planned for Jan. 10. The public meeting will take place at 6 p.m. at the North Middle School auditorium. Westfield Advancement Officer Joe Mitchell said this is one of the required steps associated with pre-permitting the land as an industrial park under the Massachusetts Environmental Protection Agency (MEPA). “This is a friendly meeting to give information to anyone interested,” Mitchell said. “It’s just the start of the process.”
