Providence Behavioral Health Hospital announces cutbacks, promises to maintain services

Providence Behavioral Health Hospital in Holyoke will eliminate full- and part-time jobs in a restructuring announced last week. The hospital, part of Trinity Health of New England, can’t yet say how many jobs will be eliminated. A prepared statement from the organization refers to service changes, but says no service will be eliminated entirely. Managers have been working, according to the release, to reduce partial hours or eliminate open or unfilled positions
