Plans to transform historic Northampton house into bed and breakfast to get review at Planning Board meeting

Plans for a new bed and breakfast in a historic section of Northampton will be considered by the city’s planning board Thursday night, documents filed with the city show.  Deborah M. Henson, who lives at 83 Pomeroy Terrace, wants to convert sections of her single family home into a place where visitors can stay to enjoy the city.  The section of Northampton in which the house is located–Pomeroy Terrace–was just recently classified as a historic district and will be listed in the National Register of Historic Places, said Sarah LaValley, of the city’s planning and sustainability office.
