Owners of iconic Red Lion Inn eyeing Springfield for potential 100-room boutique hotel
The Berkshires-based company behind the Red Lion Inn recently renewed its efforts to build a 100-room “boutique-style” hotel here in Springfield. “Main Street Hospitality is looking carefully to find the right project that would add to the ‘New Springfield’ landscape and are in discussions with a number of different groups,” said Sarah Eustis, CEO of Main Street Hospitality Group in an emailed response to questions. Springfield Chief Development Officer Kevin Kennedy said Main Street Hospitality recently renewed contact with him.
