Officials celebrate completion of Springfield Innovation Center
DevelopSpringfield, the public-private partnership that takes on Springfield’s most vexing real estate projects, celebrated Thursday with U.S. Rep. Richard E. Neal the completion of the Springfield Innovation Center at 276 Bridge St. The rehab project, beset by delays, escalating expenses and other complications, cost $7.1 million in state and federal tax credits, grants, foundation money and private financing.
