Northampton buys, opens 46-acre expansion of Beaver Brook Greenway
The city completed its purchase last month of 46 acres of undeveloped land on Haydenville from the Roman Catholic Diocese of Springfield for $80,000 and its already open as an expansion of the Beaver Brook Greenway trail system. The property is located to the rear of the St. Mary of the Assumption Cemetery, he said.
