New $45 million Chicopee development will include 4-story hotel, 3 restaurants, gas station
A new about $45 million development planned for Burnett Road calls for a four-story hotel, a sit-down restaurant, a coffee shop, two fast food restaurants and a gas station with convenience store. Friday Dinesh Patel, whose business is in Springfield, submitted site plans for his project to be located on about eight acres of property on Burnett Road, next to the existing Pride Station and Fifties Diner. Patel is seeking permits to build a four-story, 14,044 square-foot hotel as the anchor of the new project that will be located near the end of Interstate-291 and the on and off ramps for the Massachusetts Turnpike.
