MGM Resorts International is preparing to lay off thousands of workers amid deteriorating economic conditions caused by business closures across its properties due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. In a letter obtained by MassLive, Acting Chief Executive Bill Hornbuckle said the company is in the midst of “the most challenging period ever faced” by the company.
