MGM Springfield reveals what hotel lobby and suites will look like
When the $960 million MGM Springfield opens just 11 weeks from now, its 1,600-square foot Presidential Suite will include a chandelier with many hats. Probably not 500 hats, like Dr. Seuss’ book “The 500 Hats of Bartholomew Cubbins,” but plenty of hats just the same. And all of them will be inspired by the real-life Dr. Seuss, Springfield native Theodor Seuss Geisel, who in real life made guests at his dinner parties wear silly hats.
