MGM Resorts recognized as one of the top community-minded companies in the nation

MGM Resorts International has been recognized for its dedication to volunteer service.  The company has named an honoree of the 2018 Civic 50, which recognizes corporations that dedicate time and resources to volunteerism.  MGM, which is headquartered in Las Vegas, is opening a $960 million resort casino project in downtown Springfield in two months. “From the start, MGM Springfield has integrated itself into the fabric of the city and the broader western Massachusetts region and Commonwealth,” Saverio Mancini, director of communications for MGM Springfield said of the recognition.  MGM was awarded a gaming license to operate in Massachusetts four years.
