MassDOT Commuter Transportation Listening Session
The EDC has been asked by MassDOT to cohost a listening session on the specific issue of a potentially, new, workforce transportation initiative. The purpose of the listening session is to hear from the business community about the barriers that transportation presents to employer’s ability to find, maintain and develop the necessary workforce. MassDOT is contemplating a pilot grant program stressing innovative transportation solutions. MassDOT wants to hear directly from employers. The session will be moderated by Astrid Glynn, MassDOT Rail and Administrator, she will be joined by Tom Schiavone, Deputy of Transit and Alex Cox, Manager of Transit Grant Programs.
The session will be held on MAY 21, 2019 from 10:00am to 11:30 am. Due to the numerous responses the MassDOT Commuter Transportation Listening Session scheduled for Tuesday, May 21, 2019 10am-11:30am has move to:
