MGCC SMALL BUSINESS SURVEY

Please find the link to MGCC’s small business survey mentioned on Friday. This statewide survey will be used to help MGCC formulate programs that meet the needs of the small business community as we proceed from reopening into economic recovery. SALES TAX HOLIDAY ANNOUNCED

As I mentioned on Friday, the Baker-Polito Administration recently announced the annual sales tax-free weekend the weekend of August 29-30^th. Please ensure businesses in your communities are aware of this upcoming event.

PARTNERSHIPS FOR GROWTH – ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT BILL

Last week, the Governor unveiled a COVID-19 economic recovery package to generate economic growth amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. The $275 million package, designed to promote equity across the Commonwealth, is an update to the Administration’s Act Enabling Partnerships for Growth, the economic development legislation originally filed on March 4^th, 2020.
