Massachusetts Gaming Commission OKs $200K public safety grant for West Springfield
The Massachusetts Gaming Commission has approved West Springfield’s request for $200,000 from the Community Mitigation Fund, enough to pay 19% of the cost of 16 public safety employees to deal with an influx of calls attributed to the MGM Springfield casino.
