Mass DOT plans work next week on Morgan-Sullivan Bridge in advance of 4-year bridge…

The Massachusetts Department of Transportation announced workers will be out on the Morgan-Sullivan Bridge next week in preparation of the start of the a 47-month, $21.5 million rehabilitation project that is to begin in November. Beginning Monday, traffic on the bridge will be reduced to one lane in either direction between 7 a.m. through 3:30 p.m. to allow for the clearing of trees and other work, according to the state DOT. Also beginning Monday, lane reductions will be in place from 8 p.m. each night through 5:30 a.m. to allow concrete deck repairs to the east side of the bridge.
