Some came Thursday with an open mind to hear detailed plans to build a long-sought Massachusetts Turnpike exit in Blandford in the Berkshire hills between Westfield and Lee. Others in the crowd of more than 300 attending an information session in the Town Hall basketball court had their minds made up on the project, which could cost between $29.5 million and $34 million and take at least a dozen years to design and build.
