Common Capital is presenting a free training “Linking Digital Advertising to Business Growth” beginning on Friday, January 18th, 2019. This grant funded training series is available to all businesses in Western Massachusetts. The goal of the program is to improve the digital marketing skills of small business owners and increasing their ability to bring in more customers and improve sales. This training will be presented on Friday mornings between 9 and 11 AM and will continue through May 2019. All participants will receive step by step actionable plans as well as guidance from experts to increase their success in marketing. The training is available via web as well as onsite locations in Greenfield, Northampton and Springfield.
This training is made possible through grant funding provided by Mass Growth Capital Corporation (MGCC) as well as through the collaborative efforts of regional business development organizations. Franklin County CDC (FCCDC), Valley Community Development (VCD) and Hilltown Community Development (HCD), the Association of Black Businesses and Professionals (ABBP), the City of Springfield and the MA Small Business Development Center (MSBDC). The strength of this collaboration brings together the expertise and experience from across the region and creates a network of business advisors who are dedicated to assist business owners in successful growth.
During this training business owners will learn a wide range of topics about digital advertising including: understanding the customer value journey, the use of content marketing, how to access paid traffic, develop effective email marketing campaigns, as well as how and when to hire a marketing consultant. Taught by a local marketing expert Mark Firehammer of Attract More Clients, this program is focused on putting all of the pieces of the digital advertising puzzle together.
