iHeartMedia announces reorganization; radio personalities sacked in Massachusetts, nationwide

iHeartMedia has laid off veteran radio staffers across the country as part of a company-wide reorganization. Billboard noted the “bloodbath” resulted in pink slips for dozens of veteran program directors and DJs in top markets nationwide. Among those reportedly impacted were Jackson Burnes, an executive producer at Classic Rock 100.7 WZLX in Boston; Deb Lawler, the morning anchor at WBZ; and Marylee Kelly, production director at Classic Rock Cool 102 WCIB in Cape Cod, according to Radio Insight and FYBush Media.
