Holyoke Planning Board gets update on Amazon traffic, parking issues
The Planning Board reviewed Amazon’s updated traffic and parking plans for the 161 Lower Westfield Road facility after a study found traffic generated by the distribution center was below past estimates. A December traffic study conducted by Langan Engineering and Environmental Services showed the facility “has had less of an impact on surrounding road network than anticipated.” It indicated that peak-traffic was “significantly less than estimated.”
