‘Have a seat’: Pvta, Aarp unveil bus stop benches across Springfield
With funding from an AARP grant meant to improve public spaces for those of all ages, city and Pioneer Valley Transit Authority officials cut the ribbon Wednesday on a dozen new bus stop benches scattered around Springfield. “So come over and have a seat,” Mayor Domenic J. Sarno said by way of an invitation following a photo opportunity in Court Square.
