Greater Chicopee Chamber of Commerce to host first Holiday Bazaar
The Greater Chicopee Chamber of Commerce will host its first Holiday Bazaar Nov. 15 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Portuguese American Club, 149 Exchange St. Jessica Roncarati-Howe, chamber president, said the 325-member organization has traditionally done an auction and tasting as its fall benefit. It decided to do a bazaar this year as a new approach to raising funds for the educational programs and community events it hosts as well as bringing people into downtown. “We have just started to promote ticket sales, but we have had a great response from vendors and for prizes to raffle,” Roncarati-Howe said.
