Grand re-opening of Bergen Circle in Springfield
The Bergen Circle apartments on Girard Avenue in Springfield celebrated its renovation completion at the 201-unit housing community on Wednesday. According to the City of Springfield, Mayor Domenic Sarno announced three years ago that the complex has dealt with many different problems and that it was time for a change. MassHousing closed on $21.2 million in affordable housing financing for extensive rehabilitation of the apartment complex.
