Grand opening weekend at The Big E draws more than 270K people to West Springfield
Nearly 300,000 passed through the gates of the Eastern States Exposition this weekend as The Big E officially kicked off its 17-day run. According to Big E officials, New England’s fair drew 87,092 guests on Friday, 118,627 on Saturday and another 68,577 on Sunday. The Friday and Saturday numbers represent new record attendance numbers. In total, 274,296 people attended the fair over the first three days of the season.
