Gov. Charlie Baker is this year’s UMass Amherst commencement speaker
Gov. Charlie Baker will be the featured commencement speaker at the University of Massachusetts Amherst next month, UMass announced Wednesday. Baker is expected to address a crowd of about 20,000 at 4:30 p.m. Friday, May 10 at McGuirk Alumni Stadium. The university said about 5,500 undergraduates will receive their bachelor’s degrees at the at the ceremony.
