From doggy daycare to handyman companies, Citizens Banks issues $15,000 grants to 32 small businesses in Massachusetts

Thirty-two small businesses across Massachusetts will receive $15,000 grants from Citizens Bank, which announced the funding Thursday. As part of its Small Business Recovery grant program the funding can be used for operating costs amid the coronavirus pandemic. The businesses range from restaurants in Boston, transportation companies in Springfield, doggy daycare in Saugus and plumbing in Norwood. “Small businesses are the heartbeat of the American economy, and we are committed to providing them with a vital jolt as they battle the economic implications of the pandemic,” President of Business Banking for Citizens Bank Jack Murphy said in a statement.
