Five Guys burger restaurant opening in Chicopee; franchise owner has scouted other potential Western Massachusetts locations
Five Guys will open its newest restaurant Monday, June 24, on Memorial Drive in Chicopee. There, it’ll join almost every other fast-food brand known to humankind next door to a Buffalo Wild Wings, across the street from a Chick-fil-A and with a Denny’s, Chipotle and Friendly’s nearby. “We don’t want to be the only restaurant,” said Rush Blankenship, franchise district manager for Hyde Park Ventures, owners of this Five Guys location. “We want to be able to enhance the variety of choices consumers have in this busy area.”
