GUEST SPEAKER
Lt. Governor Kim Driscoll

Kim Driscoll is the 73rd Lieutenant Governor of Massachusetts. Prior to becoming Lieutenant Governor on January 5, 2023, Kim Driscoll served as the first woman mayor of Salem, MA, from 2006 to 2023. Working collaboratively with state officials and local partners, Lieutenant Governor Driscoll helped secure sizable public and private investments, including a new MBTA train station, a state courts complex, senior center
and a new ferry and waterfront port at Salem Wharf. As a result of her leadership, Salem became one of 110 cities and towns in the state designated as “Commonwealth Green Communities” which made the city eligible for municipal renewable power and energy grants from the state. Before becoming mayor, Lieutenant Governor Driscoll served as an elected member of the Salem City Council and worked as deputy city manager and chief legal counsel for the city of Chelsea.
