The Mohegans and Mashantucket Pequots are ready to start construction of their Tribal Winds casino now that the Department of the Interior has given a final OK to the expansion of tribal gaming. Now it’s up to the small town where the $300 million to $400 million casino would be built to react and to prepare. The tribes plan to build on the former Showcase Cinema property of Interstate 91, but still need town approval.
