Could ‘ancient’ deed give Northampton a say in future of historic courthouse?
Selling the historic Hampshire County Courthouse to the state as its current owner, the Hampshire Council of Governments, winds down operations would be the “smoothest” outcome for a beloved building with a complicated ownership history, Northampton Mayor David J. Narkewicz said Wednesday.
