Coronavirus: MassMutual donates 100 protective masks for Springfield police, firefighters after mayor’s appeal
MassMutual has donated 100 masks to help city police officers and firefighters protect themselves during the coronavirus pandemic, hours after Springfield Mayor Domenic J. Sarno made a plea for help. Earlier Wednesday Sarno made a statement at City Hall saying the city desperately needed more N95 masks, explaining that his request was denied by the federal government.
