Community School of Music of Springfield will receive two grants totaling $375,000 over three years from the Barr-Klarman Massachusetts Art Initiative. “Community Music School is thrilled to be selected as part of the Barr Klarman MA Arts Initiative alongside this distinguished cohort of nonprofit organizations. For the past 35 years, CMSS has delivered high quality music programs that are equitable and inclusive. The Barr-Klarman MA Arts Initiative is transformative opportunity for CMSS to build on our foundation, supported by a team of experts that will help CMSS grow and adapt for the future,” said CMSS Executive Director Eileen McCaffry in a statement. “We are truly grateful for this opportunity.”
