Chicopee requesting proposals to redevelop 2 former brownfield properties
The city is again attempting to sell two cleaned up brownfields, including a portion of the former Facemate property, in the hopes of redeveloping the land. The city is asking for proposals from developers who want to buy an about 4-acre property on West Main Street and an about quarter-acre parcel in Chicopee Center. The Chicopee Center parcel is zoned for business and the West Main Street property and be developed for a variety of uses including residential and industrial.
