The Cabotville Mill renovation project calls for construction to be done in two equal phases with about 300 apartments, to be constructed in each phase. For now, there is no schedule of when work will begin, but plans indicate the first phase of construction is to start about three months after a special permit is granted, taking about a year to finish. The second phase will begin about three months after the first phase is completed. Thursday Aaron Papowitz, founder and managing principal of the SilverBrick Group, announced he had purchased the Cabotville Mill property from 200 Tillary LLC. and would convert it into a mixed-use property with 600 apartments, light manufacturing, office space and other similar commercial uses.
