Baystate Health CEO Dr. Mark Keroack hopes to begin local antibody testing for coronavirus
Baystate Health President and CEO Dr. Mark Keroack said Friday he wants see random testing of blood collected from Western Massachusetts residents to get a better portrait of how widespread coronavirus is in the community. Antibodies persist in the body after the infection has passed, Keroack told state Sen. Eric Lesser, D-Longmeadow, during half-hour video conference broadcast on Lesser’s Facebook and Twitter accounts.
